Projects for Villa Aurora // Berlin

Villa Aurora Night

The annual Villa Aurora night originated from the idea to make known in various ways the artists of Villa Aurora and their works created during their scholarship at Villa Aurora to a broad public in Germany: the Fellows who had been newly elected by the juries were presented with their projects in a short film. This film was made each year by a different filmmaker, who had been a fellow at Villa Aurora. At the same time, the works of the "homecoming" fellows from the field of visual art were on display and those of the fellows from the other art genres were presented in a framework program with readings, concerts and films.

Such large events are only possible with the support of private donors. In this case, a continuous and substantial support of the German Savings Banks Finance Group made the events possible.
